3rd Annual Red, White and Blush Wine Tasting Event

Community Resources presents Red, White & Blush: A Wine Tasting Event on Saturday, April 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Beckham Hall, Wesleyan University’s premier event space. Tickets are $30/person.

Forest City Wine & Spirits in Middletown has arranged for more than 15 Connecticut-based distributors to provide tastings of more than 70 wines, beers and spirits. I.D. is required. All wine, beer and spirit selections will be available to order at the event, with proceeds donated to MARC: Community Resources.

Bon Appetit will provide a light fare, including servers circulating the room with hot hors d’oeuvres. The event is sponsored by Champagne Sponsor A.R. Mazzotta Employment Specialists and Red Sponsors Greenwald Industries and Liberty Bank. Parking is free. Guests can enter a drawing for an iPad mini, urBeats earbud headphones, a 7″ tablet, and a case of the event’s most popular wines. The silent auction will include items such as: UConn tickets, CT Whale tickets, beer tasting for 8 at Thomas Hooker Brewing Co., and lunch for two and the opportunity to attend a taping of Better Connecticut with Channel 3’s Scot Haney.
